Without Justification. By Mrs. Victor Rickards. (Jonathan Cape. 7s. 6d.)
It is unfortunate for the lady in this novel that the love of her life and her most eligible parli should be intimate friends, as it leads to so many explanations and confessions ; however, in the end love triumphs. The scene is laid in Brittany in the most charming and comfortable of villas ; just the sort of place where we should like to be asked to stay.
