M. )3IART'S "VOYAGE INVOLONTAIRE."
[To THE EDITOR OF THE " SPECTATOR.")
Slit,—In a short notice of our translation of M. Biart's "Voyage Involontaire," your reviewer blames us for having left un- corrected his mention of " pictures" in the British Museum, on the occasion of a visit made several years ago, and implies that there were no pictures at the Museum. In your own columns, a few months ago, there was an account of the recent transfer of a large painting from the British Museum to the National Portrait Gallery at South Kensington.—We are, Sir, &c.,
THE TRANSLATORS OF "UN VOYAGE INVOLONTAIRE."
