A requisition, bearing the names of Mr. Cotton, the Governor
of the Bank of England, and of the leading firms of the Metropolis, is about to be presented to the Lord Mayor, for a public meeting to promote the establishment of Baths and Wash-houses for the Poor. An outline of this much-needed plan of " Washing for the Million" will be found in the Spectator of the 7th instant.
