net) runs to 2,760 pages and contains 27,000 biographies. It is a remarkable compilation, for which every one dealing with public affairs is daily grateful. The new issue has been corrected up to the end of July last.—The Writers' and Artists' Year Book, 1919, edited by Miss G. E. Mitten (same publishers, 3s. 6d. net), is specially intended for journalists, who find it very useful. The new issue contains more information than before about the Press in the Dominions.
