Mr. De Valera has resigned from the Presidency of Sinn

Fein because his tentative scheme for taking part in the work of the Dail was frowned upon. Those Republicans who are too Republican for Mr. De Valera must be Republicans indeed. They are evidently 'doctrinaires who have no practical alternative whatever to the existing Government, but believe in repeating meaningless incantations.
