Grounded

The Squadron Leader has been grounded 30 years now. Like many wartime pilots who suffered serious and permanent injuries, his flying days ended when he was shot down in World War II. And now he's confined to a wheelchair and will never walk again.

The RAF Benevolent Fund exists to help all those who have served in the RAF, their widows, the disabled, dependants and others in need. To carry out this task adequately, it must already spend more than kx,000,000 eery year. During the next lo-15 years, calls on the Fund must inevitably rise steeply as age and infirmity overtake those who survived World War II and the dependants of those who died.

Please send a donation now and remember us in your will. Advice on legacies, bequests and convenants gladly given by: Secretary Appeals, The Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund, 67 Portland Place, London WIN 4AR. Tel: 01-636.2654.
