The Cloak of Charity. By Lady Arbuthnot. (R.T.S. 2s.)— This

little book, intended for girls of about fifteen or sixteen, describes a Christmas visit of the eldest daughter of a large family to a lonely aunt,—the wearer of "The Cloak of Charity." The story is prettily written and interesting, and contains one or two quite exciting adventures. It is obvious that the book is intended to have a moral ; this is not only excellent in itself, but is not obtruded upon the reader. The story will give the girls who read it cause for a little serious reflection which may have considerable influence on their future lives.
