The public meeting to promote the establishment of Baths and

Wash- houses in the Metropolis is fixed for next Wednesday. At a prelimi- nary meeting in the Mansionhouse, yesterday afternoon, it was stated, that the Bishop of London, who has recently inspected the Baths at Liverpool, would attend and move one of the resolutions ; and that many eminent men of all parties had promised their active cooperation.
