elsewhere with the strange situation which has arisen in the Near East, and will only say here that the King of Bulgaria has finally thrown in his lot with the Central Powers, just as did Enver Bey in Turkey. The Germans are now hard at work to produce an actual collision between Bulgaria and the Allies, as again they did in the case of Turkey, in order that the Sofia Government shall be finally and irrevocably committed to war. The Ministers of the Quadruple Entente have already left Sofia, and it is believed that before very long Bulgaria will attack Serbia, according to a plan prearranged with Germany.
