The guilty

Sir Mr Ralph Harris's article on 'guilty men' in your issue of February 23 was very much to the point. But why does he include Patrick Hutber amongst his group of journalists with clean hands?

Mr Hutber's support of the Chancellor and his near adulation of the man himself have been remarkable by any standards, and I will willingly provide Mr Harris With chapter and verse to prove the point if need be.

Apart from which Patrick Hutber's recent forceful attack on Mr Enoch Powell in the Sunday Telegraph hardly accords with Ralph Harris's support of the latter in his article.
