Her singing was throughout admirable for dramatic expression, and the energy of her acting in the scenes with her lover excited the audience to an extraor- dinary pitch. Even Mr. HARRISON, as Elvin°, gained great applause; and Mr. LEFFLER, as the Count, was received in a manner that showed how much his Figaro had raised him. The choruses were effectively sung ; and the costumes were picturesque.
