The Queen being desirous that the poor of Windsor should
participate in the forthcoming festivities of the Royal christening, has commanded that the sum of 350L be paid into the handr of the Churchwardens, to be distributed on that day in food and clothing. The inhabitants of the town have already subscribed upwards of 2001. for the like purpose ; which sum they expect will at least be doubled before the closing of the subscription-list. The Queen will also give 501. to the poor of Old Windsor.
