The letters from Madrid of the 30th May mention the
arrest of a third editor and of the whole number of the Clamor Publico for that day. Great numbers of persons bad offered to edits the paper, and to sign their writings. The Posdata states that groups of armed citizens were seen in the evening of the 28th in various parts of the capital, with the intention of attempting a coup de main; and that they were with difficulty induced by the most influential _ten of the Ptogressist party to abandon their design. But the tale occurs in no other paper, and receives little credit.
