It has now been resolved to proceed with the preparation of a tablet and medallion for the Free Library of Selkirk, his native town. As the further proposals in connexion with the study of Border history and literature depend upon the sum raised, and as the Committee desire, as soon as it is reasonably yossible, to close the fund, they Lope that all friends of Andrew Lang who may still wish to subscribe will now send their subscriptions to the Honorary Secretary, Mr. J.
