Sir: An elderly and distinguished friend of mine tells me
he has devised a simple and effective method Ot dealing with moles. He waits patiently in his deckchair with his gun, and when he thinks the moment right, he blasts the little beast out of the ground to Kingdom Come: which may not do his lawn much good, but relieves his feelings no end.
