It appears by intelligence received this morning from Wolverhamp- ton,
that Sir Fasoutlex Roe has resolved to make the investigation as
private as possible. He has refused admission to the public, and to the reporters for the London newspapers. This mode of proceeding has excited great dissatisfaction. Alr. Rom:, on behalf of the towns- pecplc, has refused to produce at:y evidence before a secret tribunal. He mid his friends have written to Lord JOHN ECSSELL, and the Members for Wolverhampton, urging the necessity of a public inquiry.
