By the Jamaica mail, we learn that the House of

Assembly had assumed rather a haughty tone, and declared that Lord Glenelg had been guilty of a violation of their privileges, in touching upon subjects in despatches which were under discussion. The Governor, it was feared, would be compelled to dissolve the Legislature, ifa better feel- ing was not displayed in their deliberations.—Globe.
