THE REICHSRATH.
A telegram from 'Vienna, published in the Nord of to-day, states that in the sitting of the Lower House of the Reichsrath, on Tuesday, M. Claudius moved for the immediate nomination of a commission to consist of twelve members, whose duty it should be to draw up a law on the press. M. Von Schmerling agreed to the motion; but at the same time he announced that the Government bill on the subject was already prepared, and only waited for the sanction of the Emperor before it was presented to the House. The motion was carried una- nimously, and it was agreed that the Government bill should be re- ferred to the same commission.
