BREWERY PROFITS.

The profits of Mitchells and Butlers continue to expand, the net total for-the past year of £722,000 showing a gain for the year of nearly £35,000. The result has been a fine increase in the Ordinary dividend, making 23 per cent., less tax, for the year, against 17 per cent. tax free (equivalent to 22.95 per cent. subject to tax), for the previous year.
