Mr. Glover Alexander some years ago contributed to the "Cambridge
Manuals of Science and Literature" a volume upon criminal administration. The Administration of Justice in Criminal Matters (Cambridge University Press, 6s. net) is a large expansion of this work. It is intended to serve as an introduction to the subject for newly appointed Justices of the Peace, for superior police officers, and for law students, though its appeal to general readers has not been forgotten.
