MAGPIES IN LONDON.

SIR,—There is a magpies' nest in a blank poplar tree in the Green Park, close to Piccadilly, and almost opposite the Junior Athenaeum Club. I saw the magpie in Kensington Gardens on April 10th last. It was then worrying a pair of jackdaws. A keeper told me he had seen it there for some weeks.—I am,
