POSTSCRIPT.
SATURDAY NIGHT.
The Queen left St. James's Palace at half-past eight this morning, attended by the Duke of SAXE-MEININGEN. Her Majesty arrived at Woolwich at about ten o'clock, and embarked in the Royal yacht for Rotterdam. Many of the nobility were present, and every spot in the neighbourhood which could command a view of the Thames, was crowded with well-dressed persons. Several steamers and yachts were in attendance, as well as the Lord Mayor's state barge. Bands of music played from the time of her Majesty's arrival at Woolwich till her depa.ture. The Royal yacht was taken in tow by the Plaurix steamer, and the Salamander was also in readiness, "iii case further as- sistance had been necessary." Sir THOMAS HARDY steered the boat which conveyed the Queen from the banks to the Royal barge. Her Majesty was attended by the ladies of her suite, but not by the King.
