A reader received the following letter: Dear Major Dance, In regards to your EV-170 magic i/o card using the parallel ports.
It appears to me that the Tandy system has several parallel ports on it which uses up address for 1ptl and 1pt2. That's the reason (I think?) why you had too sent up our EV-170 to 1pt3. Because of the Tandy was using up the addresses for 1ptl and 1pt2. Please verify your system setup to determine if this is true or not.
