Slight slight

Sir: The underlying misoneism which in- forms Christopher Booker's uninformed comments on my work at the Dorset County Museum (Diary, 13 September) simply demonstrates how prejudice and pompous ignorance can lead to a gross distortion of visual perception. As one Carl Jung said: 'He hears and does not hear; he sees, yet is blind; he knows, and is ignorant.'
