Lost words

Sir: Far be it from me to suggest that the BBC choral forces found the National Anthem either tricky or unfamiliar at the Last Night of the Proms. The complaint in my review last week should have applied to Vaughan Williams' Five Tudor Portraits, but the connecting sentence got lost somehow, like the choir.
