Critic criticised

Sir: It is all very well for Richard lngrams to complain about the sloppy attention to documented historical detail in some television productions, but his criticism would be a lot more valuable if he could manage to get the actors' names right. He incorrectly names the actor who portrays the Prince of Wales in Lillie as Denis Hill, instead of Denis Lill. Mr Ingrams is not alone among critics in concentrating on penning cleverly-turned phrases to the detriment of proper constructive criticism. Perhaps we are sorely in need of a Critics critic?
