Head line
Sir: I'm sorry, but `Avi Skullcap' (Letters, 27 June) just won't do. What is needed to create an analogy to 'Mohammed Al Towl- hed' is not a piece of appropriate headgear but a colloquial, amusing, but not in itself offensive, descriptor in a suitable surname format. I tentatively advance (for purposes of example only) 'Moshe ben Forbytu'. Fur- thermore, I'm getting rather fed up with people using my race as a touchstone for their own political correctness. Was it for this we were chosen?
