Spectator CoMpetit ion for Schools
THE Spectator offers three prizes of eight guineas each in a competition open to boys and girls at school in the United Kingdom. Entries should he in the form of
An original story of not more than 1,500 words, or A .middle article of about 1,200 words, or .An eye-witness account of any sporting event of about 1,200 words.
A prize will be awarded for the best entry in each section. Entries, which need not be typed, must reach the Spectator office, (99 Gower Street, London, WCI) by January 21, 1957. The name of the entrant's school should be given at the head of each entry, and envelopes should be marked 'Schools.'
