Much anxiety has been caused by the serious illness of
the President of the United States. Mr. Harding during his journey in Alaska was apparently poisoned by some food, and septic pneumonia followed. We offer our sincere sympathy to Mr. Harding. It is a great pleasure to be able to add when we write on Thursday that the latest reports are extremely hopeful.
