It is now stated that Mr. Nicholls is to be the Chief Poor-lawCano missioner, and to be stationed in Dublin. The appointment of Mr. Wyse, as second Commissioner, begins to be spoken of lucre ; and the O'Connor Don and Mr. Montesquieu Bellew, Member for Louth, are also mentioned us likely to obtain that office : but I have no doubt of the correctness of my information as to the fact that the Commission- s:I-ship has been offered to Mr. Wyse, and that in all probability he will accept it, it lie has not done no already. It is said, but I think it tins likely, that Mr. Wyse is to retain his sent in Parliament.—Dublia Correspondent qf the Times.
