The revolution in Greece has ended in humiliation. The Athens
correspondent of the Times says that the whole force of rebels, estimated at 6,000 men, with its two leaders, was surrounded and captured. The crushing Government victory was mainly due to the cleverness of Colonel Plastiras, the Minister for War, and General Pangalos. After being shelled and bombed the rebels, who were already in a hopeless position, surrendered unconditionally. It is said to be the intention of the Government, however, to treat the junior officers with clemency and to amnesty the men.
