Mr. Teignmouth Shore, well known for his articles on good

cooking in various newspapers, has republished a selection of these, with a preface by Mr. Gilbert Fmnkau, under the title of Dinner Building (Batsford, 3s. 6d.). Written in a leisurely' chaffing way, the little book has a wealth of common sense, and some useful recipes.
