THR "SracTATok."1 &a,—In the beautiful Aldine edition (1513) of the poems of Tito and Ercole Strozzi, the first line of Ercole's fifth epigram in praise of Lucrezia Borgia (folio 84) contains the blunder of -dextra for dextro, to which you call attention ; but as the printer has elsewhere given such readings as decus gum for -decusgue—and this in some verses written by Aldus himself for the epitaph of the younger Strozzi—we may, I think, exonerate the memory of a graceful, if not impeccable, Latin versifier from the charge of this particular barbarism.—I am, Sir, drc.,
