*** With regard to the "Essays and Poems" of Mrs.

Owen, reviewed in our last issue, the editor wishes us to state that the line on the over-length of which we commented last week, has, by some mistake, been misprinted in the volume as it now stands. In the author's manuscript the verse stands thus :-

" My child went forth into my garden fair Having no wish or will to stay by me ; But that I followed him with patience there

He did not see."
