Trafalgar : An Eye-Witness Account of a Great Battle, by
Stuart Legg (Hart-Davis, 30s.), is made of quotations from contemporary records—diaries, dispatches, letters. Mr Stuart Legg is an editor of documentary films, and in this interesting experiment has used some- thing of their technique, illustrating his 'montage' of quotations with carefully chosen pictures, sketches and maps. The experiment seems a great success.
