is developing a sense of humour. In a recent article in the Soviet Literary Gazette, he writes : The following interesting episode may be adduced as an illustration of freedom of speech in the USSR. The Soviet authorities, on their own initiative, published a Russian edition of this book which was rapidly sold out.
