Tins is an admirably written book, straight from the author's

experience, on the secret of receptivity in prayer at which so many people stumble. The author departs from St. John's Gospel in depersonalizing truth. He writes of a side of prayer which this age appears to have understood better than many preceding ages, and we commend the book to all overstrung persons who have never learnt how to relax themselves.
