The new Egyptian International Tribunal of Appeal for Egypt was
opened by the Khedive on Monday with a formal ceremonial. The Court consists of representatives from the European States and some Egyptians, and has jurisdiction in all cases between Europeans and natives, the old capitulations or treaties conferring privileges on European subjects disappearing.
