From Mr Raphael Rish Sir: If Matthew Leeming (`The lost tribe', 6 July) believes that blond, blue-eyed Afghans may have descended from Alexander the Great's soldiers, could he explain why I have never encountered a blond, blue-eyed Greek or Macedonian?
