The enemy within '
Sir: Mr Faber's article (20 March) on the disruptive potentialities of the Free Communications Group makes frightening reading and con- firms my worst suspicions of the communications media.
If what Mr Faber says is true, We are in great peril and wide open to onslaught by sly and insidious brainwashing. I believe that slow Poison has been pouring down our i ears for some time past. It s a typical technique in the pattern of left-wing subversion. Discipline denigrated, right and Wrong cleverly transposed, sex and drugs glorified, a rising tide of violent crime and mindless van- dalism. The debasement of litera- ture, theatre and films by a flood of filth, of music by 'pop', of art IR rubbishy exhibitions masquerad- ing as avant-garde masterpieces. Unsolicited advertisements for Pornography cascade through our letter boxes and even more muck Invades our homes through the television. The list is endless and
the decadence sickening. •
Professional agitators make noisy Protests about the evil oppressions of any right-wing regime (notably South Africa and Greece) in order to draw attention away from the far greater evils and oppressions which are endemic under communist
rule.
The hierarchy of the Church pro- vides no assistance or leadership, .bolog so obsessed by the race relations industry that they seem
totally uninterested in fighting the devil in our midst.
I am an agnostic but believe in the powers of good and of evil. Let there be no mistake—the powers of evil are rampant now; their aim is the destruction of society by any means and with no holds barred.
The persuaders of the communi- cations media are key figures in this campaign of evil. It is time for those of us who wish to preserve our country and our society to stand up and fight the enemy within, for if we Jose this battle the damage will be irreparable.
