and Co. ls. 6d.)—This is one of a class of books which does not call for criticism. The multitudes of people who have heard about Mr. Passmore Edwards, and have been benefited, directly or indirectly, by his good work, naturally desire to hear something about him, his parentage, and his early life. It would be ungracious to criticise the answer to this demand. We have the facts, and they are as noteworthy as any that Mr. Smiles has recorded.
