Lady Brough. By Bernard Barris. (Eden, Remington, and Co.) —Mr.

Borris takes for his subject the old theme of a woman who marries for rank and money, but does not forget her old love. But her old love forgets her, and fixes his heart upon her sister. The story is not a pleasant ono, though we have no particular fault to find with it, and its fine character of old Sir Charles is a distinct relief. Why does the author make Nemesis masculine P (p. 290).
