Why?

Sir: I observed that you have replaced the title 'Books' and instead have started to use the title 'The Spectator Review of Books', also in the process elim- inating the small illustration at the head of the section. Why? If you have done it because of any improvement in that section, then it is an unnecessary step as your readers can see that fact without having it rammed down their necks. If it is done as one of your changes in the SpECTATOR's for- mat, then I, for one, prefer the old title and the illustration.
