George tells all

Sir : Having been on holiday, I have just seen Donald McLachlan's article, 'George tells all' (16 August). There are two factual errors: we have commissioned two books from Mr Brown, one being his memoirs, the other a book on how he sees the future of socialism. And, as I had told Mr McLachlan on the telephone, we have bought the British and Commonwealth volume rights on both books; not hardback only, as he states.
