As a result, I suppose, of my allusion recently in
these columns to the necessity for railway stockholders bestirring themselves in every way possible to support the directors iu dealing adequately with the serious problems with which the companies are faced at the present time, the Secretary of the Railway Reform League has sent me a document reminding me that their League was formed in July of last year and at a public meeting at the Central Hall, Westminster, the League was inaugurated. Any stockholder in British railways who is interested in the aims and objects of the League is invited to communicate with any member of the Council or the Secretary, the address being Railway Reform League, 8 Duke Street, Adelphi, W.C. 2. The main aims of the League are to protect and strengthen the interests of British railway stockholders and to secure greater efficiency and economy in railway operation.
