kehia.—The Emperor of Austria has been visiting Corfu, which island

he left on the 21st of October, and during his absence of course all political action is suspended. The Emperor oacepied himself while at Corfu with inquiries into the condition and discipline of the English troops, and seemed exceedingly satisfied with what he saw. His visit was in a kind of quasi-incognito, and intended for the Em- press, who was staying at Corfu.
