Sir: Poltroon: 'Spiritless coward' (Oxford Dictionary).

Having worked for the Prime Minister, I can assure you that it is not the Prime Min- ister who is the poltroon but Paul Johnson. The evidence of his article (And another thing, 3 February) was enough to be sure of that.
