A utation headed by Sir James Duke, yesterday waited upon
the Lord C 'ef Justice at the Court of Queen's Bench, to obtain a rule from his. Lordship and the other Judges to make two o'clock p. m. on Satur- days the close of the day for serving legal notices, summonses, &c., so as to release solicitors and the managing and copying clerks at that hour. lord Campbell highly approved of the principle of the movement, and expressed a hope that the present proposal would be found practicable.
