And a second edition of his Practical Observations on the Phenomena of Flame and Safety-Lamps. The latter is printed on the first paper made from New Zealand flax, for the introduction of which into Britain the public are indebted to Mr. MURRAY. As the paper is unbleached, we cannot speak as to colour; its texture is strong, it well throws out the printing-ink, and receives writing-ink readily.
