A Nest of Royalists. By Esme Stuart. (National Society.)— The
scene is laid in France, and the Duchesse de Berry appears in it. How some English children going abroad for economy's sake to Blois, find themselves in A Nest of Royalists, is lively reading ; and, of course, they assist persecuted ones, and there are some
exciting scenes of escapes and recaptures. The Royalists are a little too free with their secrets, perhaps, but it is capital reading for children, and it is real enough to give them a fair idea of what life meant in such troublous times.
